Anna Januchta-Szostak

The researcher and academic in the field of architecture and urban planning. An expert in the field of urban climate and water management, water sensitive urban design as well as sustainable development of riparian areas and the quality of public spaces. She was the leader of several projects and an external expert in the international project REURIS on the revitalization of urban rivers (2009-2011). Currently, she is a member of the Interdisciplinary Advisory Team on Climate Crisis at the President of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Climatology, Water Resources and Air Protection Committee of the PAS in Poznań. She was also a member of the Committee for Research on Water-related Hazards at the Presidium of the PAS. Recipient of several rewards such as the Minister of Infrastructure prize for exceptional achievements in urban planning (2008) and the Medal of the National Education Commission (2014). Author of over 100 scientific publications.
